That would probably require Kulemin being waived or a nightly scratch, because otherwise I can't think of who they would sit. I'm sure everyone will scream for Bailey, but we all know he's not sitting.

I mean I could very easily see them waiving Kulemin, who I happen to like. Replaceable fourth line guy in the last year of his deal means he would likely be first up on the chopping block. It's obvious Snow isn't too afraid to make unexpected moves right at the end of camp (2/55 trades, waiving PAP) so Barzal and Beauvillier may tie his hands.

Still think the likely scenario is one of them starting in Bridgeport. Not like it's difficult to call them up if needed.

They could also scratch Chim instead of Kule

No, not at all. If they waived Kuli, they'd free up a bit of cap space. I think Chimera could fit ok on the 4th line.

I would imagine you might flipflop Barzal and Beauvillier, if not at the start of the season than probably at some point during. But yeah, they are one LW heavy if Barzal and Beauvillier both make the team.

I would prefer Kulemin be the one to sit or be waived in that scenario, I really like Chimera in a bottom 6 role.

I agree. I have no issue with waiving Kulemin. Time to let the young kids play. Put Chimera with Casey and Cal.

Weight said he doesn't care who needs what the best guys are playing and if it comes down to it I think barzal plays over beau. I know he's had a half year but gotta like what weight is bringing

I wanted Kumelin on Monday vs Rangers and he seemed to be just going through the motions. you ask me he could very well be waived playing like that.

Yes if somebody claimed him they would be on the hook for his salary which is why nobody would claim him

No, I actually like Franzie. Good 3c, consistent 40-50 point scorer & definitely great in the shoot out. He wasn't/isn't a grinder or checker, which I think is what turned some people in here off. I don't blame him one bit for moving on after Snow didn't offer him until after he surprisingly failed at landing Stamkos.
